Hetalia x Artistic!Reader: The First Day - Italy

"(Y/N), wait!" A voice said from behind you. You stopped, and turned around. And standing there behind you was... Feliciano.

"Oh, hey, Feli. You took my sketchpad?" you asked, calming down upon seeing it was just him.

"I'm so sorry, bella! I hope I didn't make you mad or anything!" Feliciano sniffled as he pulled out your sketchpad and handed it back to you.

"Aw, no worries, Feliciano," you smiled. He didn't really seem like the kind of guy who would do something like this to make you angry. "Why'd you take it, though?"

"Well, it's just that you're really pretty and nice, bella," Feliciano explained, smiling adorably. "I just had to get to know you better! So, I went to my friend Francis for advice on how to talk to you and--"

"Wait, wait, wait. Francis? As in, Francis Bonnefoy?" you asked.

"Oh, si! You know him?" he grinned.

"Yeah. We're housemates," you nodded.

"Oh, cool! Small world, huh? Anyways, he told me to try to find out what you're interested in and talk to you about that! The thing is, we only met each other once today, so I didn't really have any idea what kinda stuff you liked to do! So, during lunch, I noticed you left your book at the table, and I wanted to borrow it and see what kinda stuff was in there. I didn't even think about how that might have hurt your feelings. I'm sorry, (y/n)," Feliciano sighed sadly.

"You know you could have asked, right?" you chuckled. "But don't worry about it, okay? You brought it back, and that's all that matters. And I appreciate you trying to make friends with me, Feli. Thanks."

"Thanks for forgiving me, bella! And hey, while I was borrowing it, I kinda drew a few things. I hope you don't mind." Feliciano smiled sheepishly. Odd, you could've sworn he was blushing as he spoke.

You opened up your sketchpad, and looked through the pages. Soon enough you stumbled upon Feli's drawing. It was an amazingly realistic-looking picture of you!

"Wow! Feli, that's amazing! Thank you! I didn't know you were an artist," you grinned.

"Yep! I guess that makes two of us, huh?" he chuckled. There was no doubt about it, he was definitely blushing now.

"Are you feeling alright, Feli? You look kinda... red," you tilted your head in confusion.

"Oh, si! I'm fine. By the way, (y/n), I drew something else on the next page," he smiled nervously.

You looked back down at the sketchpad in your hands and turned the page. There was another realistic sketch. This time, however, it was of Feliciano making a heart symbol with his hands and smiling.

You giggled at the drawing. "That's really cute, Feli! Thanks!"

You then looked up from the sketchpad, to see Feliciano making that same heart symbol with his hands and smiling at you.

"(Y/N)?" he asked, his voice shaking nervously. "W-Will you go out with me?"

A smile spread across your face as you ran forward and hugged him. "Of course!"

"Yay! Grazie, dolce! You're the best!" Felicano cheered, lifting you up and spinning around with you happily, until he got so dizzy that you both fell down, laughing and holding onto each other tightly.

"You know, (y/n), when I first saw you during gym class, I instantly thought that you were the prettiest ragazza I've ever seen," he sighed blissfully, making you blush. "Ti amo, mia cara."

"I love you, too, Feliciano," you smiled, nuzzling him.
